Join us on a Pastor’s Mission Trip

There is no better way to get involved than to go on a mission trip to Kenya. Meet the pastors, join their congregations, pray with their people, help build a church, deliver bicycles, teach a Bible study, barter for Kenyan souvenirs in town, see African wildlife – give a part of your heart away.

There will be a minimum of two events a year in support of the pastors: our annual Pastor's Leadership Conference and an in-depth Bible Training Seminar. Teach, learn, support, give, share – the Lord has a role for you.

Join us on a Medical Mission Trip

Join the API Medical & Evangelism Teams as we partner with Kenyan doctors, nurses, translators, pastors and church members to minister to the Kenyan people by providing free healthcare, sharing the Gospel and ministering to children through a mini-VBS. Our medical team consist of a wide variety of volunteers – physicians, physician's assistants, nurses, paramedics, physical therapists, staff taking histories & vitals, untrained pharmacy assistants, and data input personnel.

Our evangelism team is comprised of 4-6 committed Christians who have been taught to share the love of God while leading individuals to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Their first responsibility is to minister to the long line of patients who may be waiting 4+ hours to receive treatment and medication. There usually are other times when they can evangelize to people in their homes on on the streets.

The 6 clinic days are long and filled with unexpected surprises and blessings. The work is both difficult and joyous. In addition to treating many patients who have little access to healthcare, we also have the privilege of praying with each person for God’s healing in addition to man’s medication.

We will get to experience worship and prayer in Kenyan churches that will lift your heart and soul. The Kenyans have much to teach us about a personal relationship with our Lord.

We will also visit a giraffe and/or elephant rehabilitation center and one of Kenya’s game parks, Masai Mara National Game Park or Lake Nakuru National Game Park.

The conditions during these medical camps are more civilized than many places in Africa, but not a walk in the park. The accommodations and travel are acceptable, but not the way we vacation in America. Bring your camera and an open-mind and record a lifetime of memories and blessings.

The cost for each volunteer may vary depending on the medical camp but is generally about $3100 and includes airfare, food, lodging, ground transportation, wildlife viewing, and the purchase of medicine and supplies we will be dispensing.
