API USA partners with the indigenous pastors of API Kenya to help them accomplish their vision, "The Christ centered holistic development of the people of Kenya". API Kenya presents the Gospel first but recognizes the need for ministry to the whole person. Education, with Christ-like character will effect lasting change.Vision
School Construction Project Background Agape Project International, Kenya, is committed to the Christ Centered Holistic Development of the People of Kenya. The public primary school education system in Kenya is underfunded and stretched to the breaking point. Most schools, located near cities, have 90-100 students per teacher with inadequate classroom space, desks or other basic materials. API Kenya has the vision of providing limited class size, 30 students per teacher, as well as providing appropriate classroom space. To this end the 2007-2008 Joshua Project kids from Life Christian raised over $26,000 for the construction of a quality primary school in the city of Eldoret, Kenya. The plans were drawn for two 3000+ sq ft buildings housing a total of 8 classrooms (grades 1-8), 4 offices, a computer lab and library. These eight classrooms will contain a total of 240 students. Your partnership in prayer and finances will complete this project and bring the children in Eldoret one step closer to an affordable, quality education.
