Provide bicycles for API pastors

Transportation is a large problem in Kenya, particularly for pastors trying to shepherd their congregations. None of the API pastors own motor vehicles and public transportation offers limited and specific routes. Bicycles are an inexpensive way to provide life-changing transportation to minimize hours of walking in the blazing sun and extreme heat. Two pastors walk up to 1-½ days from their home to church while others walk 4-5 hours visiting members of their congregations. Study material and other cargo can also be delivered by bicycle.

2009 Pastor's Leadership Conference

Our annual Pastor's Leadership Conference for 2009 will be held in Eldoret, Kenya from August 24 through August 27 this year. The theme of the conference is: The Church as the Bride of Christ. API USA fully funds these conferences for the attendees, supplying conference materials, room and board and some transportation costs.
